After seeing your silicone mask and how natural it looks I'm convinced silicone it's th way to go. I want to start reading as much as I can andhopefuly give it a try soon.

Watching Brad and Gene working on projects in video chat last night prompted me to do some amendments ( thanks for the guilt trip guys 
)
not done alot but the nails and fingers have been roughly shaped out , glove shape finished and palms fleshed somewhat, oh and i also have quickly added some rough tendons so Brad does not shout at me
I will be removing the nails in the next couple of days to detail them up and refine the shape, then i guess it is on to detailing.

So, I've been going back and forth on whether to make the fingers longer, blah, blah, blah, and was looking at the photo of Steve painting the hands. It's actually a pretty good shot for seeing how the claws come out of the end of the finger, as well as better indications of the curve, shape, etc. Just wanted to point it out to you since you were talking about shaping the nails further:

Yes i have that pic and a couple of film stills to work from, sadly i do not have any power tools here, so its going to be sand paper and a knife for detailing them lol.
On another note i see my dreads are finally on a delivery van, which means i should get them by the end of the week if i can drive to go collect them. THEN the head will at least be a small step closer to being completed.

I decided i could not wait to get the resin nails filed and shaped, so back to good old clay instead
I put the nail beds at a angle i was happy with, then i did the 1st run of detail on the nails. after that i decided to add some ribbing to the gloves edges.
and finally the veins over the tendons ( still need to knock them back )
thats basically it for today. Alot of it will now be refined, and things tightend up on the nails and fingers, before finally detailing.

Awesome work Lee...I'm liking the nails and the curve they have. Great work on the glove and veins...
