Well, me too, especially since I am working 16 hours a day at the moment far away from home, and the arrival of the gun would have been only a week before I am returning home. I really really looked forward to that box sitting on the drawer in our hallway and opening it, especially since it partly is a birthday present from my better half. Oh well, so much for birthday presents :cry

But then again, it will coincide with HB II showing up in the cinemas, so it might be even better timing

Ugh... now they're delaying the last payment on my flexpay until september. Now I'll have a huge sideshow bill come september, with the final payment on both the Samaritan and Iron Man bust due :angry

Where did you get that info from ? I haven´t heard anything from Sideshow regarding the order since about three weeks I sent them a fax to confirm the delivery address.

I got this email yesterday:

Thank you for your pre-order of 'The Samaritan' - Hellboy II Prop Replica (item #8931FLEX) from our Hellboy Collection. This email notification is to keep you updated with the most current information about your order with us.

In order to ensure that you receive the highest quality Sideshow Collectible possible, we have increased quality control procedures for this highly detailed piece to assure your complete satisfaction. As such, there has been a delay in the arrival date of this item, which is now expected to arrive into our warehouse in September 2008. Your 1st and 2nd payments have already been charged, and your final payment was scheduled for June 15th. I pre-ordered when they were first mentioned, but other than the first e-mail that confirmed my order, I haven't received any type of eamil announcement. Have any of the other non-flexpay people received anything?

If you're on the Sideshow newsletter (and very, Very, VERY attentive) they started mentioning the delay until September about a month and a half ago in tiny print at the bottom of the newsletters along with the other schedule changes.

I would rather face a delay than find out a part is weak and breaking. Those companies that push the product forward with a known QC problem really blow it with their customers. Good for Sideshow to show real care in what they are producing with this prop.

Sideshow do not contact you individually in regards to delays. (Unless you are utilising their flexpay plan)
All release date alterations are listed on the news letter weekly and this particular one has been listed for sometime.
