Looking really good darkotaku! Are you finding it easier to work with the Rickman Timer as a base?
I'd love to attempt one at one stage, but not sure which base to use.

I'm building a new original timer with fonctionnal electronic board.
I have the Motorola MicroTac Lite but i have a problem with the black part where the 6 digit are, have you got an idea? i thought to a black multimeter but not a good idea in fact.

I've been waiting on Lightbenders circuit board to become available but have heard nothing. They said you were working with them to ensure the board fitted real Motorola phones and your castings.

To make the timer built by Dr. Jensen (Rickman timer) you'll need a Sega Genesis controller but not the ordinary one. You need the "High Frequency" brand one also sold as "Mad Kats". You'll want the 3 button version not the 6 button version as it has the correct number of switch slots used for the blue LEDs. If you can only get the 6 button version you'll need to make a couple of mods to it. From memory I think the 3 button one has 4 switches and the 6 button version has 6 switches.

If anyone would like to have the look-up tables from the original source-code, please let me know. I don't see any harm in sharing. The tables are for the gen-1 timers, of course, since these are the ones I engineered. The code will mostly be of value in verifying the power-up preamble, or what you folks call the "Genser sequence" (haha), as well as the bargraph sequencing (which is pretty obvious).

What if I were to source a few original CPUs - as used in the original prop... which I've done... and what if I printed a few PCBs from the original artwork... and what if I programmed those CPUs with original, unchanged code... and what if I signed accompanying letters of authenticity...
I'm a reasonable man, but it would have to be worth my while. Any thoughts?

I would definitely be interested in a semi-kit like this. A parts list and schematic would also be necessary, of course...I've scratch-built electronic gizmos and premade kits in the past and this would be right up my alley.
