BlckBane you sure seem to have a devote vested interest in defending this...
You seem to miss the details that are clear to everyone and for some reason beyond logic try to pass the issues surrounding the the build to the buyer, not the builder that actually, I don't know built it?
On to the errrr....prop... :unsure
First we have someone here that presumably purchased a 'finished' prop from another member...
Second we have pictures of the prop as it arrived, I'm hardly gullible enough to believe what I see is a result of the buyer handling the prop or looking at it funny... Does the seller have other photos to prove it was shipped in tip top condition and just happened to turn up at the buyers house that way? Heck where is the seller if he is a member of the RPF? He would be the best one to address these issues after all, wouldn't he?
So from there I will address a few issues as I SEE THEM that most everyone likely finds objectionable in regards to a finished prop on this forum where the standards are generally held very high... I have reduced the size of the pictures, if you need clarification of any notation please refer back to the original sized photo...
- Chipped, broken, chewed? The top side appears sanded?
- Gap, no filler, no side?
- I'm at a lose on this one, chewed by a dog?
- Battery warped and bulging at the seam?
- Blotches, dis-colorization? And it appears to be lifting off the black box...
- No bottom filler, just a big gap?
- Fitment issue, gap on the face plate?
- I don't know what to say about that print out...
- Wire to where?, and no filler to cover the hole?
- Serious fitment issues, as well as being crooked...
- As someone that has hand wrapped magnetic coils, yikes!
- Ice cube? Seriously the bottom edge isn't even cleaned up?
- Warp and bulge of the main body?
- GAP!
- Is that black electrical tape to cover the poor fitment and part of the FCN button as well? #4 button caving in?
And I will touch based on the electronics as I have offered electronics up to this hobby as well as other hobbies for over 2 decades now, if the circuit died and failed a few hours after delivered, and needs pressure applied to the chips to work there is a bad solder joint done by the seller, it's not the fault of the buyer for trying to salvage the electronics... Point to point wires is prone to failure, especially when there are 100s of point to points in a ratsnest with no organization...
I'm sure all involved would love some constructive responses to the issues vs the "I'm packing up my bags and going home so ban me" response such far... Key word 'constructive' responses, addressing the obvious issues of the build...
