I just now came upon this thread!
I've been working on Ser Barristan Selmy's "exile" sword belt.
Here's a screen shot (above) and my replica (below).
Several problems with my replica:
1) I acquired the stamps after I had put in the grommets, so mine has the stamps going in between. On the original the entire length of the belts were stamped first, then the grommets placed over.
2) the narrow belt is a bit too narrow.
3) I've not been able to find the correct upper buckle.
For the big buckle I had to go through the same modifications that the GOT belt-maker did, because the way Barristan's looks isn't the way it comes from the maker. At upper left is the way the buckle comes, at lower right is a screen-shot, the other two photos are steps in the modification process.
The same buckle, off-the-shelf, is worn by The Mountain
Here's my completed (for now!) belt rig. I sculpted the dagger out of Sculpy. The sword is foam, I modified a Longclaw I got cheap.
They're designed as cosplay props, so the dagger and sword are one-piece props with no blades and no metal bits so as to be allowed into ComicCons.
