show your Doctor Who Costumes

It's heavy enough to be warm in cold weather but light enough to wear at conventions without a problem. I'm a 46" chest and 34" jeans waist. The XL fits me fine.

Just got a couple of 10 suits from Baron Boutique utilizing fabric I bought on spoonflower. Not perfect (I really want to dye the blue darker) but overall im really happy with them.

ShadowX81 Looking awesome! I'm looking to do the same - which spoonflower fabric did you go with for the blue suit?
Thanks!

I went with this one from Spoonflower:

In person though the color is a lot lighter and has a hint of purple. I used some Navy and Denim rit dye to bring the color down to a darker blue. Definitely stood out at the Gallifrey One convention. Its a hard color to capture. Sometime this year im thinking of selling this one and getting another done with Magnoli Fabric.

Darn, I was hoping to get by without dye. I'm dreaming of a Magnoli too but defo out of my financial ability, especially before the con I want it for. Would that I could buy this one off of ya, but I don't think I'd fit in a men's cut. Thanks for sharing! Did you get it in the kona fabric or the petal cotton, if it's alright for me to ask?

Not a problem. I went with the signature petal cotton, as kona cotton has been discontinued and signature petal is almost exactly the same according to a Spoonflower rep.

And you might fit it. Im a pretty slim guy that wears a 38 jacket and size 32 pants. If you do decide you are interested in this one; shoot me a PM and il be happy to sell it to you for a reasonable price. I'll even sell you the tie that goes with it.

Just seen this on Facebook. It's an update of a blog I've read before that lists Dr Who props and costume trivia. It's from the guy who found the original War Games Sonic Screwdriver. This time it all about the 2nd Drs bowtie. Plenty of information for cosplayer whose Dr is number 2!

I got some questions, do you bought your brown - blue striped suit at baron boutique? Is it one just ordered from their site? Cause the one you are wearing seems to look really nice and it would be in my price range

Hey, sorry I am just seeing and replying to this now. First off, thank you for the compliments. Both of the suits were made using fabric from spoonflower that I sent to Baron Boutique to have tailored.

If you have any more questions feel free to shoot me a PM. I promise I will be much more responsive about replying to them! haha
