That looks great! Are the webs puff paint? This was one I had a few years ago before spiderman 3 movie came out. It's not bad. I made a few improvements to it before I sold it. Hoping to get a much better one some day.

What do you mean? I think the puff paint actually looks just as good as the latex webs and probably is MUCH more durable as well! Sure, It's not as accurate as the latex webbing, but it still gets the same point across, looks great, and is very durable compared to latex!Yes. Puff paint. Before I knew better. It was a decent print but it was only dappled across the suit instead of a full pattern. Annoying. I thought it was cool at the time.
Working on my new comic version, little teaser...

@pandatrooper- looking good pal! I like how It's got a similar hexagon pattern on it like Garfield's suit!:cool
@Lunaman- Something about the red on your suit just looks OUTSTANDING to me!!!!!!thumbsup
Anything indoors is going to look more dull... figured that out with painting the hard way..... always paint in a very bright room!Thank you! Just got lucky on the natural lighting and camera exposure, I suppose; my friend took the picture. It's always hard to capture the way color looks in person on camera, what with them getting washed out by flash or overexposed or whatever, but that photo is pretty close. Here's an indoor shot with incandescent lighting where it looks much more dull.

If you want it to look more like the movies use puff paint, if you want it to look more comic book, make it 2d.A question I'd like some input from you guys if you don't mind - Webbing - I'm thinking Puff Paint, simply because silk-screening would take ages, but then again, do I want raised webbing? I'm not really a fan of just a black line, I'd like some texture there. Anyone care to weigh in with pros/cons for each to help me decide?
Material (texture)
Okay guys, so here soon I'm debating taking my print to a proffesional seamstress. If i tell them how everything is supposed be lined up, should they be able to do it? I mean, they sew for their livelihood but I still want to make sure.
In you guys opinion, what kind of tips should i give them to make sure they go about making it right (like lining the webs up and all that)?
I would, but she's VERY expensive. she does nice work, don't get me wrong, but it just seems very expensive for my budget right now.... My seamstress would probably sew my suit for under 100 dollars. My dad has known her for years.I would contact TrophyWife on here. Shes been doing some awesome work with various spidey suits lately.
Hy, this is my spidey costume. I made it 2 years ago and it has 6 pieces.
I hope you like it!![]()
Looks Cool. The back round isn't making you look so tough, though...
Costume looks great. :thumbsup
