Another bust I just finished for TheGreatGalling. I hope you guys like it. This was a complete repaint job for Joe. He wasn't happy with the original paint job and had me completely re do it.

I had Steve paint my Terminator and I THOUGHT that was my favorite piece. This is just ridiculous. :lol

Once again I will say Steve is absolutely fantastic. Not only is his talent immeasurable, but you gain a friend in the process. He keeps you updated, he responds to messages quickly, he is fast to finish, and just an overall great guy. You are getting a professional paint job at family prices.

I remember when he sent me the first closeup pic at the skin tones, and it blew me away. He literally brings life to resin pieces and can turn a great sculpt into a real person.

Special thanks to Howard S. for this amazing sculpt and GBOOTHROYD for the bust way back when.

My plans for this thing is to put it atop a brand new mannequin (and not the cheap one it was on before) and perhaps tailor my Goldfinger suit to fit it. I absolutely cannot wait.

LOL, it's not part of the permanent display, I just threw it on there for pics. That's my tux actually.

Turned out killer & the likeness is fantastic. :thumbsup
That is a rare HS bust & you just never see them very often.

Would love 2 see 1 of these finished with real hair.

WOW...I have been around long enough on the RPF to remember when you 1st started painting, MAN you have become a true master!!!!!!!!
GREAT JOB

I actually have a real hair wig that we flirted installing. At the end of the day, we abandoned it, but I might throw it on for some pics just for fun. It wouldn't have been impossible to shave the hair off and rework the bust, but I was afraid of harming it.

You definitely have to be very committed to remove sculpted hair & if it is not done right there is a chance the bust could be ruined.
Both these methods are really time consuming.

-Fill the top of the head inside with a filler & grind off all the sculpted hair. Re sculpt the head bald & add a wig or hand lay the hair.

-Hand lay hair over the top of the sculpted hair.
Hand laying the hair does not give it a super thick wig look.

Wow, I think that came out very well. It's better than my personal piece. I might have to send you one of mine for a paint job. Very nice work. What eyes did you use?
