Scratch built Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton

I'm going to have to get back to you with a figure... I need to measure the material needed and the time used to cast all of the pieces.

Here's a new update... I did a paint test on one of the jaw castings. It's a new chrome paint from a local brand and I really like the finish.
what do you guys think?

I'm going to go in with some black on the details to enhance the depth and make things pop a little bit.

Hi Chanfan,

I really do love that Chrome paint! When I saw the first shot and thought it looked a bit dull but the second two shots with the teeth are really excellent!:thumbsup

Roughneckone:cool

I'm definitely in for a cast as well! Beautiful work! (as I've said many many times before on this thread!!) :)

Whats the name of the paint from the local brand? Looks really good .

WOW! That looks Amazing!!! I bet it feels really good getting to this stage in the build process :thumbsup

Wouldn't really call it chrome but it's an excellent metallic effect at least :D
Third time's a charm, what's the brand called? :p

Yes, this paint tone makes it more massive the object. :thumbsup With paint that I have seen in the previous post, had not the same effect. It is an awesome job. I imagine you have made the mold for each tooth.)

Thanks guys! :D The brand is just called: Chrome effect from a local car detail specialist called Biltema. Biltema is notorious for bad chrome spray paint , but this was a completely new version and I thought I would give it a go. It comes out a lot more like alclad-ish paint, like dust, and it's surprisingly durable and holds up for polish etc.

Oh and here's a major milestone in my project:
I've painted and assembled the skull. All that's missing now are the eyes and side plates! :D

Considering me and "joberg" and "The Terminator" are also from sweden, This could be really helpful for other chrome props.
Riktigt snyggt arbete du gjort på allt thing.

and not just us, since there are Biltema stores all around the Scandinavian countries even :)

This 1st one is the chrome paint I bought at "Biltema", and the second lone spray can I got at "Colorama":

That's the one, The Terminator! However I just used their normal gloss black spray can instead of the one that comes with. It's easier to control the paint flow on the larger cans!
Contec, cool! I didn't realise you're from Sweden too! Gött mos! Var i Sverige bor ni?

Yeah I did notice that. Accuracy really goes out the window with spray cans, at least when you are a real novice like I am :lol
I ett just nu väldigt regnigt Visby :p
