I remember him saying "Scott Pilgrim vs. the Universe" in one of his videos, so I'm thinking you two are right.
He labeled Matthew's items as "Patel's Shirt/Jacket" or something like it, and had a Todd Ingram shirt that he didn't even label at all, so I doubt he even saw the film. Not that it REALLY matters in the end, but I felt like he was trying to drum up a reason for people to buy from a "fan to fan" in his vids and stuff and he really wasn't.
Unrelatedly, the woman who just posted a few SP items (and had a Facebook gallery of all the stuff she has, and who sold the stuntman hat earlier) is wanting quite a bit of money for the stuff she's going to be selling here shortly. I suspect she was watching Guy #1's auctions, because she's going to be listing her Clash at the Demonhead shirt with a STARTING BID of $90.
I wanted Scott's hat really badly and tried to negotiate $90-$100 for it, since the last auction went for that and the hat's a stunt hat, but she sounds like she's looking for $200-$300 alone for it.
I know she's listed some stuff cheaply in the past, but I think she's "gotten wise" and expects a huge killing from the next round of props, after Matthew's jacket/shirt went for $700 (which she also mentioned to me, so she's privy to it).
It drives me mad that it's impossible for true fans/collectors to get their hands on this stuff first hand. I guess people have to make money where they can, but I can't even fathom the net profits these people are making. It has to be 250%+.
