Scott Pilgrim Shirts and Costume Thread

I was thinking about going as Vegan Police for Halloween, so if you'd be doing a run on those shirts, let me know. I'll keep my eyes on this thread for more info.

Technically not supposed to post ebay links on the forum. I found my shoes on ebay as well though, it's a good place to start.

Has the parka been identified? I haven't been able to find a blue one with an orange liner anywhere.

I knew that jacket looked familiar... look what I found in my closet :lol

I'm wondering when they used this shirt, then:

After watching it again, I couldn't pick out when he wore it, unless it was used in a deleted scene.

Having seen it a ridiculous 15 times, I guarantee you this shirt did not make it into the movie.

My bad, forgot about the rings. I was pretty sure it did have the logo on the sleeve, though.

Definitely does not have the sleeve logo.

Guys thanks so much for the ideas regarding the hammer! It helped alot, I think I'm headed in the right direction now...def going the foam route.

As for the shirts, I think I'm going to do the Zero shirt, the SARS shirt, and Todd's skull shirt. Anyone want anything else? I'm going all out >:]

As I said, in for almost anything. Might even do a run or two of my own at some point. SARS is especially interesting but up for all 3.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! Depending on the pricing I know I'd want at least two of the Todd skull shirts in medium to add to my wardrobe. I'd also be down for the Fantastic 4 1/2 shirt if the price is right for all parties involved.

Found the base for the 3 shirt:

Amazon.com: adidas Men's Foundation Short-Sleeve Shirt: Sports & Outdoors

Hey, pretty new around these parts, though I've been following the discussion from the beginning. Anyway, I haven't posted anything because I haven't had anything useful to say so far, but I'd feel bad if I didn't tell you guys that 80's Tees have the "3" Todd Ingram shirt and the Plumtree shirt for $50 and $24, respectively. Pricey, but they seem pretty accurate.

Wouldn't want someone to sink a lot of money into something that's already commercially available. Anyway, carry on.

Found the person that custom made Scott's first hat in the movie (not the shaggy hair gag one):

http://lulu-bee.com/

I just ordered the last one from her Etsy shop, but it seems she is making more.

That hat is actually kind of cool....... dang it, money pit.

Cythusly, lucky closet find! Looks a lot like the vintage one linked earlier. I can't find any that have the orange liner touching right up against the zipper like the screen used, though.

New update in a couple minutes over in my SP shirt run thread. Also (and this is only if nobody else wants to do it, because I'm over-booked on projects as it is) I have the ability to do the Sharpie, SARS, and Match-Pik shirts through the same guy that's doing the SP ones, but I won't make the artwork myself. If anybody makes it in 300 DPI and sends it to me and NOBODY ELSE will volunteer to do it (please, somebody) then I can handle a run, but the 24 shirt minimum still stands. Also, if we can get 12 people I can do a run of Nega Scott shirts from the same screens, but with black instead of green and on the SARS base shirt (deep heather/black rings).

Anyways, if you want to see the update, come on overto my thread.

Couple of other things I forgot to mention:

Blue hoodies were harder to find online than I expected. Finally found:

Amazon.com: Port & Company Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt: Clothing

No match for the tan jacket yet.

I don't have a picture of Scott's belt, but it looks pretty close to the greenish one pictured here:

Amazon.com: 44" CANVAS ADJUSTABLE MILITARY WEB BELTS-10 COLORS!: Clothing

I ordered the one labeled "green," which turned out to be more of a forest green. I'm not sure if it's just a photography issue or actually a different color. At $6 including shipping, I'm trying again with the one labeled "camo." I will let you all know if it's better or worse.

From the screen shots I saw it looked pretty light khaki/tan to me, which worked great because I already had one of those.

I just wanted to say thanks for that t-shirt index rpat. Really convenient.

Thanks Siromega, glad it's proving useful. :)

Also found some other wardrobe pics that may prove useful:

I'm working on getting some useable, good quality images of most of the t-shirt logos which some people may find useful. Hope to have those up later today.

I've collected together some pics of the images featured on the shirts here. Some have already been posted in this thread (I hope the original posters don't mind me reposting them. Please speak up if I'm stepping on any toes and I'll delete immediately), some I found on the net and some I just knocked up on my PC.

Hope they prove of some use to anyone wanting to make their own shirt.

EXCELLENT. This is going to help more than a ton, thank you!

I'm going to try and throw an interest thread up in the junkyard today regarding the shirts I mentioned earlier.I'll link to it here as soon as its up

I just found this previous custom order of the X-Men patch from Scott's coat sleeve:

http://www.therpf.com/f24/x-men-patch-sold-out-check-out-prototype-64872/

Having just ordered a very similar coat linked earlier (hoping to have it in time for my upcoming Toronto trip), I'm seriously considering doing a second run.

Just realized I'm pretty far away from meeting the criteria for posting to the junkyard :(. I'll just leave it at "message me if interested."

And I hope you guys don't mind if my posts are a little smaller and more frequent, so I can cross that threshold sooner.
