Scott Pilgrim Shirts and Costume Thread

I've started work on the second of the three TCAD tour shirts. Unfortunately, it will also be my last, because I have yet to find suitable artwork for the third. Anyways, here it is. Aside from the color (I have no idea why it's showing as gray), any thoughts?

Not bad. What is the third shirt? I've got a pretty great photo of a piece of TCaD artwork that might be what you need.

This is a closeup picture of one of the originals. This is actually a pretty good picture, but screen printing a screen printed image could result in a serious hit to quality, I think

Nope, not the artwork I've got. I also don't THINK that's screen printed, I think it's just a transfer.

That's a shame. Also, regardless of how they got the image on the shirt, it just didn't retain enough quality to be printed again.

Edit: Rather interesting though is that the image for that shirt is the same as the standup of the band in the music store.

wow that would make a cool shirt, is anyone gonna try for some other of the comic shirts, i was thinking the Kraft logo would be kinda cool:lol

What we need is somebody to obtain one of those standups and scan or take a good photo of it.

That would be wonderful. I'm also hoping the the cd's turn up eventually. I'd love to make a replica cd rack based off the pick Edgar Wright posted.

My daughter just became a huge fan of this movie (me too) and I'm going to make her some of the SP shirts.

I couldn't justify spending $20-$30 per tshirt for an 11 year old girl who is just going to outgrow them in a year, so I ordered a few Ringers here:

Blank T-Shirts - JiffyShirts.com

I'm going to use the logos and inkjet them on Avery iron-on material and go old-school. They won't be as nice as silk-screen but for the money they'll be fantastic. For the 8-bit skull I'm just going to cut the design out of white iron-on and, well, iron it on.

I'll post pics when I get them done.

Here's the pixel skull shirt. Diesel Sweeties Store: Music & Pixel T-Shirts & Socks - Pixel Skull Ringer Tee Shirt

So, I'm thinking there's only one detail that may need editing on the TCAD shirt. The text on the image below (from an original that's currently on Ebay) looks a bit smaller than on the mockup I posted. Should I make mine smaller??

Would a measurement from one of the originals help?

I forgot you had those. If I remember correctly, you have a women's shirt for this particular version, but they should have the same measurements, so yes, that would be absolutely wonderful. Thanks!

The word "Demonhead" is 6 1/2" from the lower left corner of the first D to the upper right corner of the last D.

Apparently I wasn't off by much. I decided to use spreadshirt for this preview, because it allows me a straight on view. Thanks for always lending a hand Cheviot!

Hey does anyone know a place to get the sars shirt? I missed out on laamberry's run. Im considering buying the one from geekt but if anyone knows where to get it please let me know.

It's my understanding that because spreadshirt sells user made shirts and won't hesitate to refer angry copyright holders to the designers. Despite that, I've seen Scott Pilgrim shirts there. Does anyone have any thoughts on how good of a choice they'd be for printing this new TCAD shirt?
