Scott Pilgrim Shirts and Costume Thread

I've looked everywhere. That was specially made for the film if I had to make a guess. The best cane sword I could find is from cold steel, but it does come out from the top like gideon's. The closest I could find to anything coming out the top like that is a stiletto knife that has a 9 inch blade. So youre probably better off with cold steel if you feel like putting down $200.

found it. http://www.coldsteel.com/swordcanes.html

This sword does look like Gideon's when closed, but it doesn't use the same mechanism to close or remove the blade.

We've known this. Several people on here already ordered from her and the link to her page was on an earlier page of this forum.

Sorry, it's a lot of posts to go through. Plus, I saw her post on the IMDb about it (which was posted 7 hours ago).

also where do you see 50 bucks at?
the one i see is 25 with 5 dollar shipping.
maybe i'm missing something.

as far as gideon's sword i'm sure something can be made to make it lock & unlock like his using the coldsteel blade.

I got the $50 from the IMDb post she made. Both the website and post stated that the PDF is $5, but the IMDb post stated that a fully made one is $50.

oh alright gotcha.
hmm thats weird that she put 2 different prices.
no stress.
look through the thread too theres all kinds of goodstuff in here.
i just around a lot in it till i finally just went through it all.

Hey everyone,
I've been following this thread for a little bit now, and I decided to register here and hop in. Using what I've found online, I've started work on a The Clash at Demonhead Underwater Motor Scooter t-shirt as seen in Blog 10 - Clash At Demonhead - Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World on Vimeo at about the 1:33 mark. Once it's done, I'd like to put it on spreadshirt.com. Right now I need really good resolution pictures of the two TCAD posters from the DVD to get the rest of what I need, particularly the tour dates. I know there was talk of lifting the images. Has it been done?

Wow, that knockoff version looks like crap. Terrible quality yarn and it's knit really loosely.

That's going to need to be ripped from the Blu-Ray. The DVD won't have the resolution.

The $50 seems pricey till you think about it. I mean, it's $26 for supplies and then she has to spend 12 hours of her life hand-making you at hat to match one from a movie. It's actually reasonable.

There's someone making knockoffs, apparently.

Scott's Hat by joyous7 on Etsy

yup thats the one.
i didnt see the other one anywhere on that site.
i'll figure it out though.

agreed, not too bad at for somethin hand made by the person that made them for the movie.

No, it doesn't get better than that! I lent my friends the DVD and it didn't take long for my friend's girlfriend to recognize that I had a hat exactly from the movie.

Also, if you get one be sure to send her a very nice thank you note.

Its not just "not too bad", it's kind of insane. She must really love knitting.

i meant not too bad for the price.
to have somethin straight from the hands of the creator.
considering shes probably gettin hit left & right for one of those.

also any idea when your gonna do a 3rd run of those shirts?

Soon. I have a bunch of term papers to write over the next couple weeks, but I'll get it going in the next couple days. I am raising the price, though. For various reasons, I ended up taking a hit on both of the first two runs, so I have to re-evaluate pricing.
