Scott Pilgrim Shirts and Costume Thread

Unfortunatly I found this thread and website way too late to be able to get in on any of the t-shirt runs but this thread has been a really interesting read and I'd love to give some of the things in here a go, I just don't have the resources at the moment.

I'll definatly be sticking around though, just incase any more runs are decided.

i am planing some more tshirt runs after the 15th of December because then i can post in the junkyard. I already did a run of sharpie shirts, but i posted it on this thread and got in trouble. So yeah next run you can look forward to is the SARS shirt, quotation shirt, or the cbc shirt. not sure...also Risu might do another run of the SP heart shirts near the end of the month so keep an eye for that. Its getting close to christmas though so even though i might want to do a run after the 15th, i will probably get suggestions for shirts and wait until after Christmas to print anything.

anyone know how to make or even get Stephen stills yellow western pearl snap cactus shirt or the one with the guitars? i couldn't find the pics

They said in the commentary that all of Stephen Stills clothes were custom made, so they probably wont be on sale anywhere.

the sharpie tee's are looking good from the looks of it, wouldnt mind a cbc tee either i love that logo!

slightly off topic but here's a little something i'm working on at the moment, recreating the gig poster from the bass battle gig, the one kim asks if it could possibly have anymore exclamation marks!!!! lol

boynabox13 no problem

roomiccube i am down for a cbc tee but i was going to wait until the 15th of December because i can't post in the junkyard until then and i don't want us to get into trouble. right now i am working on recreating the coffee mug that scott drinks out of. i found a website that you can make mugs on and you can order and there aren't any minimums. i already have the image of the cat in green.
Let me know about the gig poster as well when you get done, it looks awesome

maybe you should also try and make the "scott pilgrim vs robots" poster from the comic when he's at julie's party and the katayanagi twins send robots after scott

Hey everyone, I've been lurking on this thread for about a little while and only just got around to making an account. It's been really useful in helping with my costume and finding the t-shirt designs. I really like all the different tees and have a few I use for everyday wear so I love getting more. Also this thread has helped me pick up lots of interesting tips on how to improve my current Scott Pilgrim costume.
I recently wore a Scott Pilgrim costume to the MCM Expo last month in London, I went for a comic design rather than the movie and wore the Gideon logo shirt but slashed up (as in volume 6) Although in the only decent close up image of it I wasn't looking at the camera :p

(I tried to put it in this post as an actual image but it came out huge)
There's also a load of other pictures of the cool costumes at the big Scott Pilgrim MCM meet up on that photobucket account too if anyone's interested :)

Has anyone attempted to make a Clash at Demonhead poster? It is shown at 1:50 in this video: Blog 10 - Clash At Demonhead - Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World on Vimeo

I've been trying to find out if they ever made this available for sale as I'd love to purchase one. Is there anyway that poster could be recreated by someone on here?

I'd say it's be very awkward to recreate, you'd need at least the original photograph they used, you can see them flicking through the porfolio book there, someone somewhere has the original files or all the album covers, posters, etc you need to find them!

Yeah I've done quite a bit of searching for this particular poster. I haven't been able to find it for sale or a solid recreation of it on Google images or anything. I even went straight too the source and asked Edgar Wright on Twitter about the poster but he never replied back to me so I'm at a loss for this thing. If I could find a solid image I could get it turned into a poster.

Oh my, ****ing wicked man. Been searching for that for almost a week now. Where did you find it if I may ask?

Also, I wonder if it will even be possible for find the original. Edgar Wright hasn't answered my question yet but I'd imagine he gets thousands of tweets a day.

i have the dvd. the fictional posters are on the disc. i just pulled the video off my disc onto my computer and then took a snap shot of it using mpcstar. i posted it on my facebook so roomiccube could pull it off and edit it. i just started using adobe illustrator and photoshop so i haven't got the hang of it yet.

Ah, I have the Blu-Ray but haven't gotten too into the extras yet so I'll have to give those a look my self. If we are able to get a solid version of it then I can most definitely get posters of it made. Keep me updated.

Haven't gotten the dvd/bluray yet, might pick it up tomorrow, but i would have been rather surprised if they hadn't put that stuff in there! may aswell show off the hard work!

i'll take a look at ripping the image out of the extras when I get the blueray, shouldnt be too hard to match the typefaces.

as for the original, look in the credits for the design firm who worked on the film, if you know the design house you'll be able to contact the original designers. This is why i love studying graphic design, cos i can make this kinda stuff :p
