Thanks JOE! I'm super excited! Love your progress on your suits. Your black Spidey suit came out bad azz!! Love what ya did. Looking forward to meeting you in person at the ECC.Well damn! That is excellence right there. The ankle pouches, belt, and web cartridges look dynamite! Like you stepped right off the page, man...
I'm in the early stages of a Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider build too. This thread is an great guide for a scratch built suit, although I'm thinking about having my spiders embroidered onto my hoodie rather than airbrushed.
Awesome work man!!!
web pack for sure! you can keep all of your gear/items from the con in there, i am going to attempt to make mine out of a white/grey helmet or semi circular object and wrap it in white/grey yarn leaving an opening for items. check my build thread out as well I'm making a scarlet spider build for the chicago C2E2 in april. let me know what you think!

So I've used a double strength cardboard for the back and hit glued it to the dome. I then used industrial strength clear tape to reinforce the back. I cut a hole in the top large enough to put my hand in and my wallet, cell phone , and camera. Now I'm wrapping it with yarn. I have an elastic .58mm string I'll tie into the yarn for the shoulder straps.
