Hi All,
New to the site and new to cosplay. I'm so thankful for finding this site. It has been really helpful.
Anyway, I live in the UK and I'll be attending my 3rd convention in July. This will be my first time doing cosplay and I've decided to do an original design of Scarecrow, combining elements from the animated series and Arkham Asylum video game with a steampunk twist.
Fortunately I already have a shirt, waistcoat and trousers in my wardrobe that will be perfect. I have already started making my own top hat, using leather from an old vintage leather jacket that I no longer wear, and the injector glove from bits and bobs I have lying around my house (plus a few small parts I've had to buy). I'll be moving onto the mask soon too. Have attached a few pics of bits I've made (gas mask filters, pressure gauge, injector container, fear toxin needle and glove and sinestro logo that I might try and incorporate into the costume somewhere. Maybe). Still unfinished (not glued or painted), but you can see it all coming together slowly.
