While waiting for another 500" of 0.25 fiber I decided to replace a bit more detail. I have been light blocking the hull and am close to the final light test and final assembly. Once back together I can start adding more finer outer details like pipes etc.

Added the final bracing in the engine section. Re-cast some of the small details that broke off the engine sides and finished running the fiber optics in the main body.

This is the final configuration for the electronics. Everything controlled by 3 dimmer boards. The black dimmer switches also will control various lights which will randomly turn off and on again, giving some life and movement to the model. The bracing was designed to allow all the wiring to fit without much trimming. Engine lighting component has been "blacked out" for light blocking.

Thanks Barney. Just trying to learn from what others have done and add my own twists to personalize it a bit. Still allot more to come.

Light blocked the head. After 3 attempts I finally got all the fiber optics organized and set up for LED's. Used heat shrink tube to contain the larger groups of fibers as they got tangled into a rats nest if not separated.

Update. More additions to the upper front neck. Added the two towers to the refinery area and enhanced the radar area sensor on the right. (dark grey)

That's a really awesome job!!!

So nice and well detailed!!! And the lighting it's excellent!!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the support. Going to post more info on the lighting. Just having issues with the Landing bay decals, they have disintegrated to a degree and aren't the best. Any suggestions?

Depending on the condition, you could scan them and reprint them. Printing of the color white is always a problem though.

Is this the Randy Cooper landing bay set? If so, have you tried reaching out to him?
