Limited Run SaberBay DARKSABER season 3 finish now available (limited quantities) saberbay.com

Finished one up, but out the door it goes as it was a commission. Waiting for my weathered one once the dark cloud poor Justin is under blows away!

Ohh, I like that battery wrap Nikonnate ! Care to share the source?
You bet, here you go. Everyone loves these. Pricy, and take a while to ship, but they're the only ones I use.

Nicely done? How's the wire management on this one? Did it take long to install?
The client wanted a pixel strip in place of the oled on the back, which added complication bc it eats up a lot of space that could otherwise be used for wire management. My biggest gripe is that proffie compatibility is almost an afterthought. Once you glue the board down you need either a super low profile 90° usb cable or do what I did and sand the plastic insulation off of the one you have you also need to trim the little 'tongue' at the back of the npx pcb holder that helps with wire management or there is no way to get the SD card out.

Those are my only real gripes. It's a little unorthodox of a setup but this is a bit of an unorthodox hilt design. I've done wayyy harder. Oh one other thing, you won't really need the four large magnets for the switch box. It's super tough to get off with only the small ones. Also make sure you sand all of the 3d printed greeblies or none of them will go together correctly. Not a huge deal. I got the install done in a weekend working on and off on it.

How did you do the crystal?
Everyone loves my darksaber crystals haha it's very easy. Paint the printed crystal with a black enamel paint pen (at least 2 coats) then scratch off the edges with an exact knife. Heres a link to the pen I used. It looks even cooler with a real crystal (my Solos Hold Darksaber)!

Interesting! Hoping to get mine done before S3 though I may still end up defaulting to a Korbanth one I had bought and installed. Thanks for the tips!
