Was considering the same.I was also curious about the weathered hilts. I'm thinking about having you just send mine out with out the weathering
I don't have mine in hand yet but I will say that GH is smaller than CFX, so there should be enough room. It would just be a matter of finding a way of securing it from moving around.Does anyone know if the Golden harvest v3 sound board is compatible with the chassis?
Regarding the magnets, the easiest way to pop the box off is to remove the screw and slide the main grips down. The client wanted a pixel strip in place of the oled on the back, which added complication bc it eats up a lot of space that could otherwise be used for wire management. My biggest gripe is that proffie compatibility is almost an afterthought. Once you glue the board down you need either a super low profile 90° usb cable or do what I did and sand the plastic insulation off of the one you have you also need to trim the little 'tongue' at the back of the npx pcb holder that helps with wire management or there is no way to get the SD card out.
Those are my only real gripes. It's a little unorthodox of a setup but this is a bit of an unorthodox hilt design. I've done wayyy harder. Oh one other thing, you won't really need the four large magnets for the switch box. It's super tough to get off with only the small ones. Also make sure you sand all of the 3d printed greeblies or none of them will go together correctly. Not a huge deal. I got the install done in a weekend working on and off on it.
Didn't think of that! I'll try that out on mine when it comes in.Regarding the magnets, the easiest way to pop the box off is to remove the screw and slide the main grips down.
We want a super strong attraction so no one looses their boxes.
We have limited amounts of extras
We angled the box to make the sliding of less obstructive
Thank you for your notes and the great work you are doing
Goth-3designs sells a variety of adapters on his shapeways site. In particular, this here is the one you want- Adapter CFX to Verso by Rick_D_Ryo on ShapewaysI don't have mine in hand yet but I will say that GH is smaller than CFX, so there should be enough room. Might still be a bit too bulky. I'd recommend this-Would something like this help with like the narrow 90degree turn for data?
Statik 360 Pro Magnetic Charging Cable 100W Fast Charge Type C and Micro USB Magnet Connectors, 100 W Magnetic Charge Cable 6ft/2m, Data Transfer Capable, Compatible with All Devices https://a.co/d/82DP6zu
No issues here, but that sounds to me like a data line issue. Make sure your wire and joints are in good shape and maybe try switching data pins if you have one left over.Question for those who’ve installed already.
Did you have any issues with the tiny switch pixels?
Everything else is working fine, but those 2 won’t display white. They will display green, blue, purple or whatever, but when set to white they kind of flicker weirdly in a color.
Also animated sequences work fine, like turbine or KITT or slow reverse etc. but only in other colors.
This is on proffie 2.2
Thanks for any insights

The pixels in the blade are rgbw
Be sure to have separate date lines and address this in the programming
What you are describing is likely programming issueThere are two sets of LEDs on the switch PCB, correct? One set are white LEDs with pads on the front and the other are neopixels with the pads on the back. Is it possible they aren't wired correctly in this instance?
There are not but you can order them from shapewaysAre there any chance there are some extra brass chambers available?
