Limited Run SaberBay DARKSABER season 3 finish now available (limited quantities) saberbay.com

They have not gone out yet
Placing these screws and extra magnets in the kits has eaten up so much time
In a perfect world they would have arrived before qc was done but they weren’t
So after qc was done had to baggie 2x6-33 screws for the blade sleeves, 4x4-40 screws. 2xsocket head 4-40 screws and the screw that keeps the main handle on

Then had to baggie 4x 2x2mm neodymium magnets and then throw those in a baggie

After doing that over 250 times then had to go back thru each box try to place them in the boxes
Along with the included chassis
Planning tomorrow to finally send out the email for letting everyone know it’s time to pay and giving the opportunity to add the grip weathering
I’ll post back here one it’s been sent out

Thank you all so much

As someone whose job includes packing screws and other small parts into little bags, I know all too well how tedious and time consuming it is. Glad to see you made it through with your sanity intact!

Besides the 22 and 30 AWG wires mentioned in the instructions what others are needed for this install? This is my first time doing a self installation and I've read the manual but I'm still confused as to what I need gauge wise.

Pixel connectors you can use 26 awg for each + and - , normally we would double it up for each , but the blades are drawing have the amperage as they use only one strip as opposed to the 2 strips standard saber blades use.
I would use 24 awg for the battery and kill switch.
speaker I would use 26 awg and the switches you can use 28awg-30awg for space
The data line for the pixels you can use 26awg

I didnt have internet for a majority of the day as xfinity was updating fiber in our area.
so the email blast with instructions for requesting the grip weathering/darkening will go out tomorrow as I am wrapping up the fulfillment sheet updates

how can we bipass the weathering option and expedite delivery of the baby!! i mean saber..

If we already paid in full, will we have to accept or decline the weathering in order to get ours shippedb
You will not have to decline anything

Only thing to wait for is the blade decals from Devin
He is printing them now, just waiting for those and while I wait I am sanding the stems to fit easier in the blade blade sleeve
If you want just a plain black decal you will be ordering that directly from Devin TheSaberTrade
So if that’s the case you can message us and we can get it out to you next week or the week after

I think I've made a semblance of a proper diagram with all the instructions listed. Just one point of confusion. There might be more wrong with it, if anyone can grade my work.

everything looks good except that accent/chamber led.
As per the instructions goth posted the chamber illumination led is pixel, same as the switch led. You can wire those as second pixel blade to have max control of them

Ah, gotcha. Besides that, there's still that one wire I put a "?" On that I don't know what gauge it's supposed to be.

Yay! I’m super stoked can’t wait to get it and start building it. I’m def be wanting to hear more after it gets “tested”.

Has there been any comparison photos of the two options for the blade posted yet? I’m thinking the standard but I’m not sure.

Everyone will get the standard decal
It will not be adhered so if you want the plain black decal TheSaberTrade is offering later then you can ditch the included one and purchase the other option from them
Unfortunately it will hold up fulfillment and add way to much work to offer different versions

Can we get some final glam shots now that the run is all done and ready to go???

also, I note that you say the decals won't be adhered as standard, is this to accommodate installing the LED strip in the blade? Like, could this be done for us to assure alignment is correct?

Will the grip darkening/weathering service be handled on a separate invoice even when there is a balance due on the first invoice?
