Limited Run RUN CLOSED * DL-44 ESB Blaster Machined Parts Set * RUN CLOSED

shipping invoice has been paid. can't believe this is practically over, its been fun debating, sharing pictures and most of all, all the great new friends I've made through this, thank you everyone!

Maybe not. He's got a lot to go through. It will ship after you receive and pay for the shipping invoice. Unless you want him to do the full blaster build(and get it last), you will probably get the invoice soon. I'm not BD, so I'm not going to speak for how quickly you will get it.

halliwax, the most amazing thing I find, is that after all this time, there. Are. STILL, many new details to find on the props. New discoveries, and mysteries keep popping up.
I was watching the movies last week since it was the first run of them on TNT and seeing them for the first time NOT as the bonus discs and in 1080p full screen on my 55" TV made me think for certain that the muppet blaster was the "holster filler" for Luke throughout ESB. I swear you can make out that particular scope mount during the Bespin duel scenes in a few shots(crawling up the walkway after being pulled out the window, etc) but enough about that.

Mine shipped today and I can't wait to get it. I have some free time coming up and I'm looking forward to getting some building done.

Haven't gotten a shipping invoice yet. Mine must not have gone out yet?
If you remember the emails, he's working on them in batches. So the ones going out first are the ones that need the least amount of work. So parts only & no Denix are probably the first wave of orders. It's only a few more weeks; we've waited this long. I'm not expecting mine until mid-late next month, but I keep checking my email notifications in hopes that I'd be surprised.

I just wanted to clear up my shipping method.

I ship the easiest kits first so I can get the most out in the shortest amount of time.

This may seem unfair but if your wanting a full build or a lot of optional labor I am sure that you do not want me to rush the work to get it shipped faster.

This project has a lot of moving parts and I have so many email replies from each person that I have had to create separate folders for each member so that I can review their info more easily and even then there are items that need clarification.

Since Friday I have shipped 6 kits and I have 3 pending.

would like to send out a couple notices every day but as the optional labor requested increases, the amount of kits I can ship will decrease.

I'm working 10-12 hours a day at my job on the F-35 program here at Cherry point so I am pretty much on the computer from the time I get up till the time I go to bed trying to get the orders worked out.

I apologize for pace of the shipping but I am doing the best I can.

Not trying to rush anything or even worried on my end in the least. I've just been so busy and lost track of where this all is. Was only wondering if I missed something, like an e-mail in the spam folder.

I just want to thank Boba Debt for making these parts. He emailed me a couple days ago because he was working on getting all my parts and services done so they could be shipped. He found a discrepancy in what was invoiced vs what was in my parts box and asked me about it. I told him what I ordered and then he very diligently went through all of my transaction data on paypal to find all the invoices (there is transactions several because I kept adding parts to my order) and find the issue before he shipped my parts. He got it done quickly and got my parts in a box and labeled for shipping. I'm impressed with his thoroughness and professionalism. You have nothing to worry about if you haven't got your parts yet, they are coming very soon.

Bravo

Look what I got today in the mail!

beautiful! i had a orange slip in my mail box, picking mine up tomorrow! yay!!!

Thanks!

Same here, I should say lol. I got the notice on Wednesday and picked it up yesterday lol.

Can't wait to build and update(badly) my old Bespin one. It really will be building two blasters and not just one!

due to weather i got out of work early. i quickly ran to the post office to pick up my package. i had only 2 packages due in and i got the other one so i knew it was Boba debts parts!

i just opened everything and i am blown away!! i can not believe the size!! i've never seen a DL-44 in person. the weight of the denix was crazy! it feels so real! the wood grips! outstanding!!

the bespin barrel!! so huge! i would have never guessed seeing all these pictures how beefy this blaster is!!

the scope, amazing!! perfect touch! my lenses even came installed! thanks boba!!

the pistons came out flawless and the resin greeblies look good enough to eat, or placed on top of a cupcake to substitute as sprinkles!

I love everything about this build! Boba you seriously put some hard work into this run, making this the most epic run i've ever been on!!

i can't even imagine the organization it takes to do a run at this size with so many options!! god bless you man

what seriously helped me out with this run was Boba debts payment plans. if it wasn't for the way he does the run, and paying in installments i wouldn't have been able to afford this. i seriously thank you dave for all your hard work, i appreciate it.

now i have my favorite star wars blaster! thanks so much, i look forward to your other projects!!

Seconding the payment plan option. While I'm not as big on ROTJ, I would find myself hard pressed to pass up an ANH blaster, even though there are already some good kits out there.

Even though the ESB is also my favorite blaster(and I think since I had it), the last RoTJ run is what cemented me getting back into prop building/collecting. "I knew...I just had to have it."

I'll third the payment plans, they make it feel like the run progresses as you pay vs paying all at once and waiting lol.
halliwax, you remind me of me when got my original Bespin kit from the last run. I don't know what it is about it but it is. They don't call the DL -44 a "Heavy Blaster" for nothing, it ain't just because it packs a big punch lol. Even complete, I don't think it's too heavy or even too much to carry in costume in a Solo rig.

i didnt mean anything in a negative way, i just love how much it feels real. i can't wait to get cracking on this thing!! boy do i have a lot of questions! lol

I got to hold someone's ANH blaster at Dragon Con, and I gotta say, it felt really light. I guess they had resin parts for everything. So everyone posting about how heavy the blaster is in this run really makes me excited to eventually get mine.

question, this may be in the wrong spot. do we have to cut the length of barrel at all or just sand off the sight and slide the muzzle down it?

Just the sight. some Denix barrels are thick and lumpy, so you may have to take down the diameter of the front of the barrel too. I used a metal file and slid it, in a curve, over the radius, since rough sandpaper was taking forever :)

That is a good explanation of the process.

The cool thing about the internal design of the flash hider it the step up. Instead of a consistant ID there are 2 steps, that way you only have to modify a very small area of the flash hider to get it to fit :)
