I'm late to the party...just wanted to check in on how things were going with this run. Wow, Boba, the scope looks great. I'm glad to see that these came out the way we'd hoped.

Thank you so much for these new scopes, guys. They're beautiful. We've never had the option for the full circle/broken circle before!
I still have one of the original brass castings from years ago, and it's lovely, as well. It's really hard to part with such quality parts. I'd likely make another blaster before selling a scope by itself!

Do any of you who have completed their ESB using an MGC have any input on what to do with the barrel? Unlike the Denix, the MGC has a metal rod inside the barrel. I have no problem cutting the barrel to size but I don't want the rod in there if I can help it. I like the look of the hollow barrel. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was back and forth on the flash hider for a while and since I'm more on an "idealized prop" prop guy, I'm happy with what I got/chose. That being said, I wouldn't mind the other flash hider down the road to change out on a whim because, why not lol.

With the ROTJ Blaster, I know the main different variant is the deleted bunker scene one, but are there any others that are more subtle? Like how the Hoth and Bespin differences were?
Check the ESB blaster thread proper. There are closer shots and detailed descriptions of the Hoth Blaster as it is today.
I'd also like to say the Hero Bespin blaster was the first blaster that I noticed in Star Wars....probably because Han pulled a gun on Vader like it was nothing

Hey guys, found another weird photo of the Hoth Blaster and there is something really strange going on with that scope mount!? Has this pic already been posted?

Is that his finger? I know it's a darker color but maybe he was keeping his finger off the trigger until ready to fire

Yeah, that's what I thought it was too at first but, think back on all the times we thought this way before about some minor detail that turned out to be quite a surprising new discovery Tomm? Idk, maybe it is his finger, maybe it isn't? It looks to me like there could be something more to it than just that....
