Limited Run RUN CLOSED * DL-44 ESB Blaster Machined Parts Set * RUN CLOSED

I know you said you had a few people on a list for these parts. Any chance we'll see another run before Rogue One hits in December?

I second the accurized Denix, they really are a massive improvement over the original casting.

Edit. Whoops I meant to upload a photo of the other side of an accurized Denix.

That's one fine looking ROTJ blaster:thumbsup Here's to hoping there's another future run. lol

Yes, that's one of the optional labor services that I ill offer.

Another set of thanks for this option (the bead blasting). I keep looking at the pic of blaster and back at the bead blasted flash hider you showed and I'm liking it more and more.

I'm also starting to lean towards that full knurling flash hider vs the two ring one I ordered...PM sent.

Bummer. Clearly these are the best of the best as far as ESB DL-44's go! Hope to see this caliber of runs in the future. This time around I had to focus my efforts on an ANH DL-44, but thanks to Shadows of the Empire the ESB will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for the response, sir.

I'm curious how people voted with their $$$ on flash hiders. Which one do people prefer? Which do people feel is more accurate of the Hoth versions?

It depends on if your going for Idealized reality or "In real life" on screen accuracy.

I prefer the former :) So I went for 2 band kurling on the Hoth Flash hider as there appears to be a definite gap in the knurling bands in all the reference (to my eye). My plan is to possibly weather some wear or damage into the edges of the knurling where they meet the gap.

I had considered getting the single Band knurling and weathering in a band from scratch. I am still tempted by that idea.

That was done early on. Boba had the samples of what he made last time as well as many screen grabs from the different scenes showing the blasters. Ultimately he gave us options on which flash hider we all wanted.

Originally I went with the 2 band Hoth flash hider design because it is easier to start with a gap to create the weathered effect.

I mount the flash hider on a bolt and stick that in my drill press and spin it at about 200rpm Even though the knurl is veyy fine I still have to use sand paper to get rid of almost all traces of it. then you can spot sand areas to get the wider gaps.

Once all of that is done you can refinish the flash hider achieve a very realistic representation of the real blaster.

I might do one this weekend if I have the time.

I don't know if this is possible, but I really need a Bespin Scope Bracket disc and spacer. If you have any extra to purchase I am in, thanks!

Would you be able to tell me the dimensions of the blaster? I'm having a Luke Bespin belt built and I was asked the dimensions for the blaster. Thanks!

The overall dimensions are 11" long by 6.5 tall. The gun is about 1" thick at the magazine and the flash hider is 1.25 in diameter

If you need different dimensions let me know, however, it might be better to wait until you get the blaster because the scope bracket position has a lot to do with how the holster is made.

Hey David

Are you able to give us an estimated time frame until the completion of all parts?
I have to decide about some shipping options to germany, which depend on when the kits are ready.

Thx in advance!

For the members that only have machined parts on order they will be ready to ship this week.

The scopes will be done next and I have no idea of how long that will take because we are doing them differently.

After the scopes are done I will ship the mausers and they normally take 2-3 weeks to get processed.

Once the scope machining is figured out I will get with Vince and get some pricing for the resin parts and then I will ask everyone to send me their requests so I can get him working on those so they are done by the time the mausers are processed.

Thanks for the update
So I´ll probably have the scope shipped separately.

Expecting your eMail, so I can give you my updated shipping info.

Markus :)
