His looks great too. I wouldn't mind seeing a comparison with the KR either if somebody has one.
Could you post some pics of internals from Roman's TD? And what's the material used for the middle channel that holds the 3 LEDs? Looks almost like plastic.

Oh, derp, I missed that. I thought it was a weathered Roman too. Now that I'm actually paying attention...the differences are obvious. Both look fantastic.

Roman is an absolute legend. Literally. He's been doing this since the VERY early days back in the 90's.

No. Fresh from the packing, mine was smooth as it could be. & yes, mine is weathered.
Heads up. Roman recommended a flat clear coat to protect the weathered finish. Some of the weathering rubbed off of mine, but I actually like that some of the chrome is peeking through.

My stand for this arrived the other day. Also, I weathered the grey center area.
& I think I found a perfect display spot for it (at least for now). With my Han ROFJ blaster.

Great display and the weathering on the center section looks perfect. I really need to do mine.
I like that stand too, I may eventually have to pick one of those up for mine.
