Hi all,

As some of you know I have a thread going on with my rocketeer jetpack
Build.

Parallel project, I am putting together a highly detailed and precise 3D model of the jetpack.

I am looking for anyone who has an original mold prop (such as the MIM / Acme kit) and wants to help out providing several key dimensions, so I can produce an accurate model

IF YOU CAN HELP ME please get in touch with me. I have a diagram with key dimensions ready to be filled in!

I think that some accurate measurements were already here on the RPF

Ive seen both versions out there. They are unfortunately not complete (or accurate )

Tanks completed with every detail. Also radiator.
Proper angle on the rivets. Rear accurate as well.

As soon as I get measurements I will proceed with the center hull. Until then I’m afraid this effort will remain on permanent hold.

Update: a couple of VERY kind people pulled through and gave me all the dimensions needed. The tanks are updated and completed! They look slick. I will post pics soon. Next is the center hull using this CAD technique:

Started 3D tracing the hull.

Did you have good reference for the half moon notch outs in the flaps?

I got the dimensions. Do you know if the little notch pictured is intentional and accurate? Or was that just the MIM kit?

Also I am in need of some more reference pics if you are willing to help. Thanks!!

Getting close now. Still lots of work ahead to shape it all perfectly...

Proportioned correctly now. Only some surfacing challenges to be resolved and it will be done.
