TRUELY TRUELY AMAZING WORK !! ( yes i shouted that,, and got a glare off my wife when i blurted out " ******* HELL "

Super cool to see your idea on what Boar would have looked like.

I cannot think of anything else to say without it looking like im kissing your ass.

Ya it's too late for me - I already sent Rob a PM telling him how much I liked his drawing. Either I over-inflated his head with all my compliments, or Rob is squeezing his sphincter... :)

yes i am still here.

i feel like i am trapped a in Rob drawing. just when i think i have scanned all the details i notice something else.

i'm gonna need more coffee.

3 DAYS!!! Is that it????? Thats amazing Rob, can think of any other words to describe it. Literally awe struck. And not a swear word in sight in Robs post :) is that a record????

Congrats on a remarkable piece of artwork!

That boar made me cry!

Because of sheer happiness. And jealousy. But mostly happiness because its so bloody awesome!
I love this part the most:

That eyebrow is just... and the eye... the dreads... awesome. :D

Sweet dancing Jehovah... I am jealous. I admit it.
These are some of the most beautiful drawings I've ever seen! Like everyone said before, they're incredibly photo-realistic. The shading is so perfect and blended so well (what do you use, by the way?) that it looks exactly like a black-and-white screenshot from the film. Never understood how some artists could achieve such a perfect shading effect.

Other than wondering what materials and tools you use to pump these beauties out, I'm curious as to how long each one takes you. And how long've you been drawing? Oh, and how large are your drawings?

Once again, drop-dead amazing work man.

Those are incredible. It's amazing the amount of detail you put into the sketches, keep up the great work!!!!

Wow, everybody... thanks for all of the kind words!! I am humbled!!!

Well, as far as how long it takes me; between being a full-time student and having a moderately full-time job - a lot longer than I'd like. I do what I can, and I'm usually working on 3 - 4 drawings at once. So, any free time I have that's not taken up by the job or homework is spent with a pencil in my hand. Or hands - depending on my mood.

Most of my drawings are fairly large: I think that one up there is 20" x 30". I usually buy huge illustration boards, and go to town. As far as materials, well... anything I can get my hands on. Pencils, erasers, blending stumps (saves time), kneadable erasers, mechanical pencils. I've got quite the collection of drawing crap. Pretty much whatever I can get my hands on.

I do draw other things when the need arises; other than figures studies and such. Mostly, I'm drawing the Predator. To me, it's one of the most challenging things to draw. Especially the Boar helmet, that's hard to get right, but mainly due to OCD.

As of right now, I've got a few pieces to do for friends, but other than that I'm not going to be doing anymore "for fun" drawings. I want to focus soley on bringing my favorite Predator (the Hippie) into the 3-D world. That's gonna be a whole other thread.

Thanks again, everyone!!!!

Amazing. Your drawings are completely professional level in every sense of the word. Just incredible detail. Wow....

I'd say beyond that level, lol..! But yeah, his work is very, very professional. I can see his talent taking him places, just give it time! And just think we will be able to say, " Hey! I know that guy..I used to talk with him on the lair" lol

Here's some more concepts I found while going through my "drawings" folder. They were for a member here, and he wanted Wolf's body and armor with the Boar helmet. I thought this was a really cool idea, and I found that by just changing the helmet, it makes a huge difference and it becomes a totally different character - War. I don't know where or when (or how) I came up with the name, but it was before URATZ started doing his horsemen helmets.

Anyway, this was a real fun project, and unfortunately I started on the final at a pretty bad time. I was just about to start school, and working 40+ hours a week left War in limbo.

Anyways, here he is -

In the drawings you can see the progression of the character with each new drawing being more refined than the last. I think I'm going to dig him out, and finally finish it up. I don't like leaving things unfinished. I don't even know if the fellow is still a member here or not. Anyway, thanks for looking!!!!!

:) :(
