rob... :p i saw at least some of those a long time ago.... i can't even believe my eyes!!! i ... just... i dont ....understand how that's even possible...

unbelievable!!! damn!!!

Wow i wondered if we would see these again :p
I had seen some of them on other threads but it is nice to see the "whole clan"
Top work as always Rob
You have inspired me to dig up my old pred sketches as well,
Awesome mate

Thanks guys!!

If I didn't already have enough to do, I'm in the process of updating the characters a bit. I really want to do them in larger scales, as the originals were done in a small scale. I'm going to do each on individually, then eventually draw them altogether. I've got this massively huge piece of illustration board that would be great for this purpose. Should be fun to do.

Thanks again!!!!!!! :)

Wow, just wow. These are really amazing drawings, the details are awesome, you could look at one all day and still see new stuff!! Just completely awed by them. Its giving me a kick up the behind to get drawing again, ive been meaning to do a predator for ages, I might just get started because of this inspiration!!

those are some of the best concept work i have seen, the detail is amazing, you have some serious skill mate

I can't contain myself...I have to show you something that made me soil my pants:

Rob - if there were a Mythological God of Art, you would be that god. If we were the mortals below, we would beg you to please share this wonderful creation with us.

Thanks for those kind words, Jason!! Brought my smile back.

I wasn't going to post up the pictures just yet as I'm not completely satisfied yet. Basically, I wanted to come up with a concept for the Boars face. This was done over a period of 2 - 3 months, and consisted mainly of sketching over and over. I finally decided on a design, and put it down in much larger scale.

The final concept was a finicky blend of both P1 and P2 features. I had a ******* of time trying to come up with a feasible head pattern - one that wasn't too P1 or too much P2, BUT it had to fit within the P2 design parameters I set for myself at the start. It also had to work off of the bodies' established spot pattern.

The whole point of the drawing(s) was to give myself something to sculpt using solely the drawings for referrence. I used SWS pics for most of the initial design, but will not be using them when it comes to clay time. Anyhows, onto the pics!!!

Well, there it is. Let me know what ya think!! Thanks for looking!!

:)

I think you sculpt with a pen, cause that drawing is lifelike and just jumps right off the page...

amazing talent dude,,, but we've always know that about, we just love seeing what is next.

yo crazy man...you crazy

Your art is like a drug...I look at your work and I get goosebumps, sweaty, dilated pupils and spend the next 5 minutes drooling on my keyboard. The photo-realism is unlike anything I've ever seen. Its like if I were to gently rub the paper I would feel the skin's texture and bumps. The teeth on the lower mandibles look freaky! And you did a great job of blending the P1 and P2.

Looking at your stuff makes me want to try harder and become a better artist. Your stuff is simply superb...

Oh and PS - FOX is seriously hindering themselves if they don't HIRE you for the next Predator movie. You would have so much to contribute and could help take the movie in the right direction just with your art alone. Thats what its all about - a convincing Predator. And your Preds are ALIVE bro...living breathing creatures created by your mind's eye...

I just looked at them again and I can see wrinkles in the dreads...just the real dreads! You really have to scan them and show us a pic then...because I know I'm missing out on at LEAST half of the detail you have painstakingly put into your drawings...

I think I just died an went to drawing heaven. Jeeze man your work is ok... breath taking. Im suffocating right now because Im so focused on your picture I forgot to breath. Good job man. Its beautiful :)
