Rob's Drawings: Samurai, Juggernaut, P2 and more

I am frankly sick and tired of saying how awesome your work is, just when i think thats is Rob's max'd out, he goes and produces more spectacular work. :)

I am at the stage of thinking likening Rob to Crash, is doing Rob a diservice, i actually think your work is THAT good now it surpasses Crash's pred work.

Again i bow to your powers sir.

just post it over Rob i changed my mind it sucks, i will dispose of it for you :)

I actually cannot stop looking at it, P1 is and always has been my fav, and i do not see that changing. I am just blown away.

Sorry for the double post, i will delete one now o_O

Oh wow! Thanks for all the kind words, guys!! They mean a lot to me.

The medium that was used was my mechanical pencils with leads 4H, HB, B, 2B and 4B. I go back and forth from pencils to mechanical pencils depending on the drawings size, and how much detail I want to incorporate.

I drew him on illustration board; 24" x 36", and I left some space for another Predator. Of which will be a custom design incorporating both P1 and P2 aesthetics. I'm trying to come up with a design that'll work for the Boar Predators face. I figure since his skin coloration is heavily based off of the P1, I would try to incorporate both face designs. Then, eventually it'll make it to sculpt form, latex, and paint. I've already got the P2 "stunt" blocked in, just need to push it further.

Anyhow, the P1 for me has always been the hardest to draw. His face has more character than the P2, and the details are softer and not as defined. I am really happy with how it turned out, though.

Thanks again for all the compliments!!! :)

WOW I'm stunned for words your art is amazing mate so much detail how long did it take you to draw???
I know when I'm drawing putting a lot of detail in it takes hours lots of them,
that pic is so awesome well done cant wait to see more from ya in the future do you have a deviant art???

Just sick Rob. Reminds me of the Winston concept drawings (maybe that's this Crash guy everyone is talking about? I don't know him). Only better.

That level of detail is just... insane. Rob, I have to ask....

What the hell are you?!?

That is without a doubt the best illustration of a Predator ever!! hands down!!

Hey all! Thanks for the words guys!!! :p

I've thought about having it digitized, but even for something 8.5" x 11" it's around $50. I think for ***** and giggles I will have it done just to see what it looks like.

The drawing took me about 3 days on and off to finish. There's still some space on the otherside, and I'm thinkin' I might fill it up with a full drawing of the Predator. I've got an idea for a sequence of drawings where Anytime and another hunter (wearing the "toothed helmet", or Gort helmet) trap a group of soldiers in a bunker during WWII. Anytime's armor is already setup, but I need to come up with something a little different for the other hunter. I don't like thinking that other members of his clan wear exactly the same armor, and have the same layout.

Welp, off to do some more sketching!! Thanks again!

WOW...just incredible! From your last post, it sounds like it would make one sweet poster...or even a painting to put up over the fireplace....sweet job!
