well the neck seal is up, its in the first post
not sure about the design....will be hard to know if it works until someone actually makes one and hardens it.....
the individual bits look like big boxes but you just use the edges....the rest are just supports for holding it in shape.....
the long bit at the back sits into the pocket on the brace
so yeh....not sure about it....

Hey robo, been a big fan of your work for some time now. Ive spent many hours cutting and glueing your peps together. Without a doubt you IM armour is the best out there. Thank you for gettin the neck seal up, just downloaded and had a quick look at it and im really not so sure about it at the moment. However, Im sure ill get flamed for constructive criticism. Im fully aware you put your own time and effort into these things to give to us as gifts and believe me im sure i speak for everyone when i say we are truely greatful, but i cant help but feel this was maybe a little bit rushed? From a quick look it seems as though it would leave skin exposed during movement. Every other part you have created comes with almost the exact intricate detail that is found on the real armour, however this part is very basic. I hope this can be recieved as constructive critisicism as opposed to insulting. If anyone feelks like correcting me id be happy to take the hit. These are just my observations. Please dont think im being ungrateful, its not that at all. Its just i dont wana see the standards slide on a project that has taken over nearly 400 peoples lives (estimated download count). Just as its nearing its final stages of creation. There are many neck seals out there, but i dont wana mix and match. This is the greatest IM suit available and ill be proud to have 100% credits go to you when this is finished (apart from helm obviously). was just expecting a bit more from such a perfectionist. My sincere appologies if i have come accross as a bad guy. I just wish to offer constructive criticism.

I think that after you put on the braces and collar plates there won't be anything showing through. You could also attach the neck seal to a neoprene balaclava as in TMP's example in SIWDAT.com.

It's not like every other neck seal because, compared to every other neck seal, Robo broke his up into 4 parts: (1) brace, (2) collar plates, and (1) neck seal. Built all that first, please.
I'm gonna start the neck seal tomorrow.

i think its just cos i have a neck like a giraffe. robo could you design one thats about 3 foot long to accomodate this please.
in seriousness, i didnt really take into consideration its broken upo into 4 parts and i suppose the brace would push it closer to the helmet. My sinceerest appologies.

I think im a bit high tonight from to much polyester resin exposure today, my face mask didnt have a great seal on it... ya live and learn...
When i get back down off the ceiling i'll have more constructive input.

i was looking at the brace and neckseal peps, and isnt there a big triangular gap on each side near where the neck connects to the brace? i would like a render of the neck and brace together to see how its supposed to fit if you dont mind.

duskullms, remake it bigger, i tried to do that also, cutting down the middle and it didnt work so well, i re-scaled mine and made it a little bigger and fits perfect now. You can try to cut but in my opinion it just doesn't seem to fit right.

in fact my thighs are kinda big so do not pass through them,thats why i want to cut xD 5 or 6 pieces more i finish the pep then i will cut to test

When it comes to hardening the helmet, at which point would you cut out the faceplate?
If i wait til after the body filler i wont be able to see the lines for the faceplate. Also, i have been using fiberglass tissue for hardening the inside, but when the resin dries, the fiberglass still feels grainy and rough. Any tips please, fiberglassers?
