Is that a "How smarter are you than a Ape" test or something .

Besides it should be programmed to automatically count the number of moves the user takes.

It's the computer version of the 'IQ test' they give the apes in the film. ...and yes, I agree it should count the moves for you.

Saw it over the week end and thought it was a great movie. the CGI was ok, but I got so cought up in the movie that I kind of forgot about it.

Once again I've been surprised. I have to say I rate this the best film of the year (so far).
I had absolutely no love at all for the trailer and would have given it a miss had the appraisals of it posted here not been so positive. And they were spot on.
Once again WETA floored me with their skills and I have to say without them and a fantastic performance once again from Andy S the film would never have succeeded to the degree it does. Some of those main character apes are brilliantly enabled and the matured Caeser real does take the crown. I cannot wait to see what they will do with Beorn and Smaug in the Hobbit.
The plot was very, very strong and the entire story surprisingly moving as the apes "became" humanized and the people (with the odd exceptions) moved the other way. Neat nods, both great and small are given to the original series and the way to the sequel (I hope!) is very cleverly sketched in.
Considering the periods in the film that relied entirely to what you see in the faces and actions of the apes and not dialogue to carry the story it did a remarkable job and I was completely absorbed in it in a way I have not been since perhaps Inception.
Do not miss this film.
