Hope to tape and spray second colors on chest armor tonight and the base paint will be done on all my armor. Weather all of it this weekend. Got the lycra on the ductape dummy last night and put the skin back on the dummy as well. Started sewing but, I'm just worn out from the friggin flying and all. Like I said not much but, progress is progress. Laters all.

Well i did get more done last night but, my dumbass forgot my camera at work. So, lots o' pics tomorrow.

Small update. Ran out of paint the other day so couldnt finish painting the armor. Got some paint yesterday, painted the chest armor which was the last armor needing paint. Woohoo! Pulled the tape off and the paint came with it. Crap! So, I will have some touch-ups to do. Airbrush...No tape. Need to weather the chest plates and shins and the armor is DONE. Test run on body netting as well, I like it so I will fight with it to get it on. You can see the difference between weathered and non-weathered if you look at the chest plates and the center chest piece. I am using Rustoleum Hammered Copper and Hammered Dark Bronze paints. After weathering you cant really see the "hammered" effect. Oh, well.

CRAP!!!.... Everytime I feel like I'm making progress, I see something like this. WOW!!! This is one amazing suit, from top to bottom. Gonna be one of the best on the Lair. Very nice!!!

i concur with my fellow hunters on the board.....totally going to be one of the best suits ever made on the board or costumes for that matter...film worthy.

Scott,
one of the things that blows me away about the suit besides it looking fantastic...is how you went about it...you joined the forum, did your homework and tackled it head on. all in a very short time...

perfect example on how to do go about it.....

i'm all puckered up

Thanks for the kind words guys. I means a lot to know you guys approve and appreciate the suit. I honestly consider this to be OUR suit. 98% of this suit consists of pieces and works from the many talented artists on the Lair. This suit would not exist without all the hard work and amazing pieces you guys create. I thank you all for providing the pieces to make this suit into what is. I dont know too many of you that well but, you have my respect as artists. Sorry to get a little mushy but, its the truth.
