Limited Run Rey Goggles (Made to Order) from The Force Awakens

I just wanted to also confirm that I'm still interested in a set and am happy to do a deposit or a full payment whenever you would like. I've read through so much of the Rey costume thread that I feel like I owe you the money just for all the help you've given in that thread. The new revision to the stitching also looks great. My girlfriend and I are really excited for when our turn comes up!

Thanks, everyone!

I'm going to continue building everything else on the run, and leave the mold making till last. I counted, and I have *just* the right number of lights to complete the run...so I'll need to refrain from drilling/finishing one of them until I can make a mold of it. This really shouldn't delay things... as I've said i shall continue all other build processes as planned, and just do that one flashlight last. i'll mold it, and then finish it once that's done.

i do the lights at the end anyway...so it shouldn't be a problem. :thumbsup

*****Small Update****

The molding process didn't go as smoothly as I'd have liked, but I did manage to make a new one. This has set me back a couple of days, and so it's looking like the run will ship on Monday 7/25/16

Almost there! I need to install clips and shock cord on two more pairs, and then it's on to weathering before they ship.

First page updated!

This run is almost in the can. I just need to weather them tonight, and they will all ship Monday.

I'm taking a break after this. I need to make new molds, and I have a couple of other projects to work on. So there will be a bit of a hiatus till i get back in the game. Waiting list is frozen until then.

I just received my goggles yesterday. Wow Kristen, just wow! We are so happy with them. They truly look great, and the craftsmanship is perfect! All of you research and hard work has definitely paid off. Thank you very much for all of your efforts and for getting these over to us so quickly! :thumbsup

Hey Kristen!

I was off the forum for most of summer, tinkering on other things etc. ;) Great job on these. Quick question.. you used a wool fabric to cover your molds, but then also a type of netting?? For the texture? (before the pigskin goes on)? Just curious of the process/fabrics there.

Jo
