The show looks cool, I saw a trailer before another video on Youtube and went to look it up. Due to the end of the trailer having the amulet be able to just generate/restore power..I think that there will be some magical or supernatural forces at work overall. Just my two cents.

Turns out a friend of mine in Atlanta worked on the pilot as crew. Says Jon Favreau is a fantastic person, and he thinks the show is going to be great. He is, of course, biased.

Revolution - this show has got to be bad right?

I keep seeing previews for this show, I think on NBC called Revolution where all the people are running around with swords and bow and arrows. That pretty much tells me not to watch it. Nothing, not even nuclear war, would make all the guns in the world disappear. Has writing with common sense gone out the window? I can't stand watching things where they act like the audience is dumb.

Guns wouldn't disappear, but with no one making more ammo, eventually they'd be nothing but paperweights.

That said, I haven't seen or heard anything about this show, so I'm probably just full of it.. hehe.

Nonsense, it doesn't take much to make more bullets and the formula for gun powder (or even just black powder) isn't exactly rocket science.

They would keep reusing the brass until it died and by then they could make their own. Either that or go back to muskets, even easier.

Actually watching the trailer does show quite a few guns, considering SVS said they had "disappeared". A few muskets, and I thought I saw at least one or two cartridge guns.

So I imagine it's just that ammo is hard to come by for the "normal people".

Interesting idea for a show, but I probably won't watch it unless everyone starts going on about how it's the best thing on TV. I don't have time to watch every last thing that airs, so I only go for the cream of the crop based on opinions from other viewers.
