I've just bought some of these pocket kits after seeing the amazing things that people on here are doing with them.
Can anyone tell me what kind of paint is on the pre-painted parts?

Been mainly focussing on the Portal Gun, this is on the back burner at the moment. I plan on making the base raised to hide the battery pack, just haven't got round to it yet; despite there only being a little left to do. I'll update the thread as soon as I get back to it

I have soft spots for miniatures (pocket sized stuff) too.

Thank you very much! I intend to get back to this project soon, it's been sitting in my cupboard incomplete for nearly a year now :/
As for where I got it, I bought it at Modelzone for may £6-£7? It wasn't too expensive, definitely under a tenner

I've run out of display space in my tiny bedroom, so I've long term lent it to a good friend.

Why don't you paint the acrylic base with a flat black color, and then some White spots to make the stars? And also paint in black the metal pieces that are supportin the asteroids.

Love what you did with the little Falcon and the asteroid diorama . Might have to steal that idea ! My Falcon was installed on the dash of my car , until my car was written off !
