As if there weren't enough Falcon builds on the forum, here's one more for the collection!
i picked up the Revell 1:241 scale kit for cheaps at Amazon recently, and had a few hours spare. The kit is just a reissue of the Easykit Pocket from a few years ago, just moulded in plain grey plastic. And it's very small.

The kit went together in a few minutes with no drama. I started with with a simple covering of white primer, and painted in the smaller details on the cockpit and grey & red panels.

I didnt want want to go too dark with the details on a kit of this scale, so a medium grey wash brought out the details, with additional darker washes were added the the recesses and engines, etc.

Things were here looking ok from there, so I just built up the black stains from the exhausts with further washes, and added the streaks with a Gundam real touch marker. These were great for the job, since it only needed a dark grey dot of ink that was streaked down with a finger- the packs of real touch markers also have a blending pen, so any unsatisfactory streaks could be erased & refined.
All in, the kit was a fun diversion, with some nice detail. Obviously not a patch on the Bandai kit, but for less than £5 I'm not complaining!
