I've been working with moffeaton on this X-Wing project for quite a while now. As the digital side of things starts to wind down (we just have some work on the armature left to do - and droid variants ) I started putting together a retrospective. It's been an amazing project to pull these ships together.

Just posted Part 1 of our X-Wing project. This post goes over our data capture and resurfacing efforts. We had access to some pretty great assets that allowed us to really nail the proportions of things.

Yup, love it! I’m still pretty new at this studio-scale stuff but learned pretty quickly with my Y-wing to ‘let go’ and accept the imperfect imperfections.
