respirator help??????????

Hey all at the lair I recently have got a problem I bought a respirator ages ago called protector I bought some filters for it which said organic vapours and stuff like that but it seems as though it has done no good after working with latex with it so much I feel like **** I have replaced the filters on it regularly but i still dont trust it heres a pic

my question is did I make the right decision on the new respirator I'm pretty sure i did its way more expensive than the protector one I bought my safety is number one priority.

If your working with that much latex or don't have an open space then they have ammonia specific filters that are probably what you'd be looking for.

also in my line of work if you dont have a face to fit a respirator or have facial hair they wont let you use one. I dunno if that applies in all respirators or just the ones we use. Because not all shaped melons get the correct seal.
