First off, I really hate these kind of posts because it is usually a waste of time, but this guy has pushed me to point of posting my situation here.

A guy by the name of Paul Sullivan Ebay ID: treckfreek contacted thru ebay a while back, he bought a Reeve bust and an Obi wan from me. I noticed the other day this guy was recasting my pieces... this Superman 'face casting' showed up and he claimed it was not mine... you do the comps. He then straight out admitted he was recasting Chris King's Reeve bust (the Greek sculptors one) and that is was a different piece! Well, it's obviously mine and I called him out on it and asked him to stop recasting my work! He is opening admitting being a recaster at the same time by stating he IS recasting the CKing one!!

Back when I was still dealing with this clown, he wanted more of my larger pieces but I explained that Australia has size restrictions from the Post Office. When we both agreed that I would send him a Ledger bust 'trimmed' to fit in the box, he agreed that was fine. Now that I will not sell to him he's filed a claim on me with Paypal! This scumbag needs to be exposed, I've had it with these losers!

Oh, and he tried using an alternate ebay ID or a friend to buy for him now... maybe Dale can chime in with that address, I can't find it now. beware of this recaster!

Sorry to hear that.

It's good to know he's a recasting scumbag though.

Fore warned is fore armed!

And what's worse, it's a crappy looking recast! I mean, if he's going to recast your stuff, you'd at least think he'd take the time to do it reasonably well...

Kidding aside (the last part, not the first, it's still a crappy recast), I noticed he had a couple other similar "bust plaques" that look similar in style. Specifically, it looks like he's got one of Hayden Christensen:

Anybody identify it?

I really do not know, as i never had to use it....

I need to sell it... what could happen if he buys it?

What do you think that he will do with it?

Thanks

Alfredo

Honestly I think that your particular helmet is safe and that he actually wants it. Because if he just wanted to recast a helmet there are far cheaper kits

Cool !!

Thanks.

But what i still do not understand is that he bids only 1 dollar? maybe he just wants to have track on the item, so if someone outbids him ebay will send him a message.... right?

Managing bidders and buyers

There's the link showing how to block a bidder.

I agree that it's probably safe. Chances are he's there cos it's cheap and once it goes beyond a certain point he'll disappear. If he were genuinely after the item he'd watch it til nearer the end before bidding in case he pushed the price up.

But i see no point...because there is a reserve price.....

i only do things like that if the price is very good, so i bid so the owner will not cancel the auction......

I bid on items occasionally because my phone has an app that alerts me when an auction I am bidding on is about to end.
That way, I don't forget to snipe

Trek freak is friends with Bently o'toole . the armour he is selling is fobreglass copies of an fx suit with an ap bucket. all fibreglass.

Bentley has been selling on ebay for years all he does is change his name and moves so no one can track him how do I know this I have been one of those people that get screwed over for a fast buck even one of his friends chris hull has returned more than once on ebay the moral of the story is do not trust any aussie ebay members before asking questions on here first
