They're going out of business with all of the financial flops and terrible decisions. That's actually a good thing.Because they require the tears of fans upon which to feed.

The problem is Gen Z doesn't give a wooden nickel about Star Trek. The core fanbase (read: old people) are the only ones who don't think ST is lame. This right here. We're a fickle bunch who are fast becoming the non-preferred audience.
We're the only ones willing to give them any money and they don't like us one bit. That's kind of a recipe for financial disaster. The problem is Gen Z doesn't give a wooden nickel about Star Trek. The core fanbase (read: old people) are the only ones who don't think ST is lame.
The issue is the “Who” that would be rebooting TOS…
If it’s Kurtzman and co…it’s called being rightfully concerned about franchise dilution and brand damage. The track record is clear.
Now…someone like Ronald Moore rebooting TOS? I would absolutely be excited for that.
You answered your own question. They wouldn't know creativity if it bit them in the ass.Why reboot TOS... when they have a whole universe outside of TOS and the other series to play with? If they had any creativity at all?
There was a creative idea, but they bit themselves in the ass. It was Axanar. You answered your own question. They wouldn't know creativity if it bit them in the ass.
Because they DON'T Have any creativity. They rely on the small but VERY vocal group of supporters who say how great this rubbish is to continue. Why reboot TOS... when they have a whole universe outside of TOS and the other series to play with? If they had any creativity at all?
And then, the show fails because they don't actually have an active audience, just idiots with big mouths that don't actually watch.Because they DON'T Have any creativity. They relay on the small but VERY vocal group of supporters who say how great this rubbish is to continue.

They must have 3 monkeys as writers throwing crap at a wall with "concepts" written on it. To think at one time the respect Trek used to get for intelligent stories.
No, no and no. Any questions?
