Love the approach and the idea. Have been looking for similar ones for some time now. Most designs are too cartoony or ‘heroic scale’ for me. Love the more realistic approach.
What are the overall dimensions of your bolter?
I'm currently in the process of making comparative measurements myself and hope to be able to implement something similar. Every reference helps.
Your 20x42mm bullet sounds exciting. I'm leaning towards 19.05 (.75)x 71.5mm 8-laid on 7.62 Nato). According to my initial calculations, this would be compatible with the idea of a 20 or even 30 round magazine (length approx. 30cm

Since my project is still at the very beginning, the famous ‘idea phase’, and I am currently primarily compiling various ammunition concepts, I wanted to ask very kindly if you would provide me with the STL of your bullet?
