Well said guys (I just joined here recently and got caught up on this thread) and I remember being in Aaron's garage a cple of years ago saying "you know what kind of saber would be the bomb and be very customizable?...The TFU2"), and that was wayyy before the other guys thought of it. It created a huge flame war on FX as mentioned earlier in this post due to kneejerk reactions from the mods), and created much drama all the way around. Shoot the 2nd run might even get started, built and completed before the other guys get a working prototype to see

Anywho, after reading that, all I can say is what the hell? If a business does not allow negative feedback, or refuses to do future business with a customer that leaves negative feedback, that is extremely poor customer service and that business is hiding something... meaning that the negative feedback would be too high of a percentage when compared with the positive feedback. Yes, this could cause a business to lose customers but a business needs to allow negative feedback so that they can become a better company and have better customer service. It will show them where they can improve... assuming they have good business morals and ethics and actually want to improve. IMHO, no REAL company/business would act this way or allow any of their employees to act this way when representing the company they work for.

Vader's Vault unveiled a new saber the other day that was designed by a third party but they bought the rights to and modified the design to better flow with the overall aesthetic. You-know-who jumps on the thread and claims that VV stole the body design for one of his "original" sabers and gets nasty immidiately, calling Mrs. Vader's Vault the c-word and Mr. Vader's Vault a ****face. All this happened on their own thread. On top of that, Phil posted renders of an obvious VV Legacy copy yesterday in retaliation for nothing. I can post proof of this if you want me to.

Doubtful. Despite his shenanigans, there will always be those who will support him. It's no different than the Snikt shop stuff going on now.

I can't find Saber Forge's Regal saber on his website or company Facebook page. I've seen pics of the Vaders Vault version before though. Apparently that saber is based off of Sauron's mace from Lord of the Rings. So has this Thomas Snyder guy also designed sabers for Saber Forge? If so, there's your problem right there. It's the Kelly Clarkson/Beyoncé - Already Gone/Halo thing all over again, lol (Google it).

Ok to me those sabers look different enough that Phil should not be all bent out of shape about it. Yes, they have similar lines but they are clearly different. Enough so that if each company (successfully) copyrighted their version, neither company would have any legal ground to stand on if they wanted to sue the other for infringement.

So we are supposed to search his whole forum/website just to see if it is ok for us to make a saber. I don't think so. Most of the people that he has issues with have a permanent block on their browsers to stay away from his site. LOL

I also had to really look hard at that saber, and wonder why he was so bent out of shape after considering how many more things are dissimilar vs. similar between the two contested builds.
And after seeing several other sabers on that very same post, which are recognizably near-exact renditions of sabers that others have displayed as their creations on other sites, it is hard to believe that this individual is really getting fired up over someone producing something which only bears a vague resemblance (to my eyes) to their render.

Wow. I'm glad that I found this. I was just starting to look into getting a saber and was thinking of ordering one from them. I'm definitely not going to now.

Probably the single saddest thread I have read in a long time. Its been a dream to get a SF Redeemer for a long time.
Sadly I cannot condone this kind of behavior with a purchase now.
Let me know when someone with some integrity makes a thin necked/accurate episode III Obi-wan.

Been looking for the same one myself. As recommended by previous people in this thread, LDM makes a very pricey but very great looking Obi-wan saber. I'm still trying to figure out what is the difference between his two offerings along with which version I want (sound is a must for me).
