Hey guys here are some really quick shots I took yesterday in full gear, I didnt shave my head yet I will next week for free comic book day. I am pleased with my results of working out and it shows for sure. Last thing to do is add velcro to the boots and done.

Looks awesome, you just have to work on that farmers tan

Oh yeah agreed, I am always outside playing sports and I forget to work on it, it's also hard for me to roll the sleeves up at work in a office!

Here is on of the vests finished weathering last night guys, It has a few subtle differences from my vest that will be on mine before PHX CC here in AZ in 2 weeks.

Great Job. I notice the main front plate is bigger on this vest compared to yours. Was there a reason for this.

Yeah if you notice the straps on this one are attached to the second buckle under the first buckle on the front which is accurate. That makes the front plate look bigger, plus the vest is made in a larger size than mine also this shot was taken pretty close to the camera.

Hey man how are you holding up your turtles? I've got all four of 'em hidden away on a shelf somewhere gathering dust. I really wish I got more than just the turtles, shredder is a bad ass!

Great job on the suit. Are you going to be doing Bane's leather frock?

Yeah the jacket will be ordered in a few weeks, as for the turtles I just used small nails and the hooks on the packaging

Really loving this build! You are slowly transforming into Bane. Just wondering, how tall are you? Hardy is around 5'9" and is wearing 3 in lifts for the movie, so I just wanted to compare you two . I'm actually planning to do a budget Bane build for the movie, just have to bulk up and figure out whether to shave my head or go bald cap. Not sure if I want to commit that much yet .

I am actually 5' 11" an I am wearing 2 inch lifts in my boots. I have been really hitting the gym for this costume and it's showing off which is always nice. I am very self conscious about my body and this has been a way to get past that! I am really close to being finished with the costume, just need to order my coat!

Slight update..ordered a new mask should be here this week or first thing next week. I will post pics when I have it and paint it up. This mask has accurate pipes and should fit my head more snug.

Also on the coat front banepants.com is out of stock so I am basically back to step one on that front.

Oh yeah, heard about that on the other site. Did you end up getting one from JB? Was the old mask a gcfx, if so, was it mostly the fit or accuracy that led you to get a newer one? Regardless, you are still looking great! You'll sure make a lot of commotion at the premiere.

Mainly went with another mask cause of the pipes on the GCFX and the fit on my head! The JB is what I went with, it just seems to be very accurate!

Ok guys here is the Vest! I cannot believe the job the maker did making this! I will weather it and paint the plates the correct colors. It is a absolute ***** to get on and off for sure though!
