Rate Star Trek Films In Order of Best to Worst.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) Kahn!
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) Nice wrap up for the TOS
Star Trek: First Contact (1996) Action!
Star Trek (2009) Not perfect. but better than I anticipated.
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) First one I saw in the theater.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) Trek lite.
Star Trek Nemesis (2002) Not as bad as everybody says, but Remans?
Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) What a mess, but best of the worst,
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) Bad
Star Trek Generations (1994) Worse
Star Trek: Insurrection (1999) The worst.

Not a huge ST fan but:

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
Star Trek Generations
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
Star Trek: First Contact
Star Trek: Insurrection
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Star Trek "09"
Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Star Trek Nemesis

The most recent ST (Star Trek "09") was, in reality, pretty good I thought. What ranks it so low on my list is because I feel that JJ is a RAT B*ST*RD for robbing Kirk of his father. The line from Spock saying "Your father saw you become captain of the Enterprise, he's why you entered Starfleet" dug in to me hard. You DO NOT rob Kirk of someone that significant and still end up with the same character.

Maybe though that's because I have a son named James... But I still fume when I think about it. Can you imagine if I was a hardcore fan???

I have not seen all the movies yet. I've only seen four to be exact, yet I'll still rate them.

First Contact, the best of all that I've seen
Generations, it's not really all that special, yet I can watch it if I'm bored.
JJ Trek, same as above.
Nemesis, I'm not too fond of it. the acting didn't bother me, yet the story simply was not fun.

Hmmm.....

Wrath of Khan
Star Trek (2009)
Undiscovered Country
Voyage Home
Search for Spock
First Contact
Final Frontier
The Motion Picture
Generations
Insurrection
Nemesis

I think Khan is almost universally recognized as the best with the original cast. Unlike some, I REALLY enjoyed JJ Trek. Undiscovered country I rank highly because of a personal affinity for the cold war analogies (International Relations is my field of study, so plot strongly resonates with me). Voyage Home is a bit of bay area bias in me, I still get a kick from walking down those stairs at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, plus, it's a fun movie.

First Contact I did really enjoy, probably the best of the TNG films. Between Insurrection and Nemesis, I don't really have a favorite. Honestly, I didn't think either were as bad as their detractors assert. But Insurrection really seemed more like a drawn out episode than a feature length film. It just lacked a certain indescribable quality.
