Raku Predator

Here is something I did recently. I am always playing with new ideas and techniques so I did a ceramic Wolf Bio in Raku. The mold want that great that I used and the clay wasnt cooperating, but I got it. This was the first go round. I have learned a lot and am already starting on the next go round with a better mold and different glazes and firing techniques-- I really like some of the different hues and metallic tones that came out in this.Im excited about the next one for sure.

Raku is such a great medium to work with. With the random effects you get with firing it makes for a great piece.
