Actually the original poster was notified when link removed. After question was raised as to ownership, I do believe the link was restored.

Truth. I never saw that I had new messages (didn't the new message notification used to be red? Mine doesn't chance anymore, except for the number). Basically, someone pulled it, then admitted to jerking his knees and put it back up.

I would think that if it was stolen..or at least questionable...LFL's lawyers would be all over this. $100K is quite a substantial theft, if they get the $....

Agreed, as others have said if it's stolen LFL will pursue. This is an eye sore to bring to anyone attention just because of the price alone.

This was posted on TFN earlier today.

I wonder if they knew it was stolen. You gotta think that when you post something like that on ebay, people (especially fans that keep track of stuff like that) will take notice, and if its stolen, that LFL will find out in a heartbeat.

Hopefully LFL gets it back.

I agree. Actually I think it would show good spirit if Mr. Lucas openend his archives and donate some of the important stuff to the Sci Fi museum or Smithsonian. Not loan, or tour. But actually donate. I seriously doubt any of those props will ever be needed again. And he has enough money to buy China now so an auction is not really necessary.

Hi All, I'm new to RPF but some may know me from the RS forum's. I was able to see this dome in the flesh a few months ago & have got some extensive pic's of it. To be honest Myself & a few friends nearly bought this dome but decided to back out. One thing that is definate is it is what it says's it is, an OT hero dome......but without any history of ownership we decided to pass it up. Once this has all blown over I'll post the full story but what a great thing to have spent the day with.
