R.I.P. Odo

Wow—that is 3 Trek creators in just 3 days:

- DC Fontana
- Robert Walker Jr. (Charlie X)
- Rene

With the loss of Nog, and now Odo, a DS9 reunion of any kind would be very bittersweet.

Very sad.

DAMN!!!!!

I am looking at Odo as I post, well a Screen used appliance that is.

He did so many roles besides Benson and DS-9 he was a great Actor

What a rough week for Trek fans

He also played the first Father Mulcahy in the MASH film.
He was an excellent character actor.

Sad week for us Trek fans.

Wow! This has not been a good week. We've lost so many Iconic people. I remember him in King Kong 76 , Benson, and of course as Odo in DS9.
RIP Sir. Thanks for the good times.

Wow. I remember him from the movie version of MASH in 1970 where he played Father Mulcahy and his guest starring role in Warehouse 13 a few years back. He did a lot more work than just Benson and DS9 but those are the roles he will be remembered for.

Man has joined the Great Link. RIP.

ALLEY

Very bittersweet considering it took 20 years and the advent of streaming television so that DS9 finally got the recognition it deserved.

Wonderful actor. His cameo as Frasier Crane's "mentor" was great.

And to think I started rewatching DS9 (and showing it to the Missus after finishing TNG yet again) right before reading the news.

Rene’s role on Boston Legal was great as well.

I definitely hated to hear that the hope of seeing the DS9 cast come back in a special or cameo at some point is now very unlikely (without digital wizardry)

The last time I saw René was in the documentary “What We Left Behind”. I highly recommend it if you love DS9
