Quick finishing tip for Brady cursed Tiki

A couple people have asked how I put the finish on my Brady Tiki.

It was really quick and dirty...2 steps.

1) I painted it flat black

2) I wiped it down with acetone

That's it, Instant cursed tiki!

NOTE: Don't pour acetone on it. Just wipe it down. You'll have to scrub a little due to the texture of the piece.

Have fun! I still have a few, too.

I want to have a luau (sp) this summer like I had a few years back. Only this time, I'l be styling and profiling with my tiki WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I mentioned the same thing to my wife the other day. I suggested making all the guests wear tikis.

That didn't go over well. She's afraid to put one on. :unsure

Thanks Rylo. It's a real shame I missed that sale. I was a kid in the 70's and totally remember this episode.
