Okay, the real origin is this:
A while ago, I wrote a comedy fanfiction for a toyline called bionicle. One of the main characters, Onua, fell victim to a face hugger. There biology made it so that a chestburst is harmless.
When the xenomorph was born, instead of killing, it was trained to become a normal person.
His name was origionally xalen, but that was too obvious, so I put an "er" at the end.
There you have it.
