Question about Detolf shelf (yes another one)

Does anyone know the weight limit on the TOP of a detolf shelf? I want to put my Sideshow/Weta Dark Lord Sauron statue on top of one, but its pretty hefty. It would be a disaster for one of those to come crashing down because the item on the very top was too heavy...

I thought that was the limit for the glass shelves, isnt it? I'm talking about the wooden top - I would assume it can hold a bit more, right?

Oh. I read that as the top shelf (as opposed to the middle or bottom). My bad. That answer, I couldn't tell ya.

I think it would hold a lot. The side pieces are thick and the pressure is straight down. I have put all sorts of things on mine including a very heavy Full-size Capt America bust.
I think it would hold it just fine.

cool - I seem to remember someone posting pics of their collection where the same statue was on top... my bro's got a bunch of those Ross busts - so I know what kind of weight you're talking about... thanks!

Well. I have a MR Stormtrooper Blaster(which is pretty heavy) along with two helmets on top of one of my Detolf's....
