QMX Phaser from Star Trek XI

Has QMx announced doing a hero lights/sound version?

I preordered the stunt one. Metal-plated 1:1 with a nice stand for $50 USDollars!? Way sweeet!!!! Heck that's almost as cheap as the Diamond Select toy.

(shrug) I'd still be in, most of my pieces are just used for display anyway and never really get to be "played" with.
That said, I bust out my DST tricorder all the time when my wife is on some rant.. I'll click it open, start scanning and in my best Nimoy voice inform her that I'm detecting high levels of BS coming from her direction.
It ALMOST always gets a laugh and defuses the situation by injecting a dose of humor. :lol

I now want to buy a tricorder just so I can do that to my gf. :lol

Love the movie and for the price, had to get one of these, good job QMX. I wont mind if it comes with a few imperfections but if it comes with a c-scar, its going in the bin, im over those.

Not a fan of the movie, hate the prop, but bought the replica anyway. :lol

What can I tell you, I'm a propaholic. I'm addicted to propahol. :sleep

The design of this phaser is completely impractical. Chrome? And how come there's no trigger? How are you supposed to fire it, just wave it around and fix it in post? :lol

Pity about the permanently attached stun/kill barrel. The barrel on the replica does NOT melt into the body of the phaser at the back, as I'd heard... there's a gap all around the stun barrel at the back. If they wanted to they could have at least made the barrels a separate piece, so you could put it in facing either way. Oh well, probably would have added five cents to the production cost. :unsure

The thing's huge! The size of the Trek 5 Assault Phaser.

With the Qmx Command Badge.

With the Playmates Tricorder, the best of the prop toys from the film.

You can tell it's a Tricorder because it says so right on the label. :)
